Two grades of silver  embroidered on very fine peppermint green linen.

The subject depicted on the placemat of a fairy  with scissors is an interesting one.

Scissors and knives very often represent the intellect ,the fairy adds whimsey.

It reminds me of the  Einstein quote  ” if you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales.If  you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairytales.
